Album Review: Dead Models – Dead Models EP

I don’t usually review EPs, but this debut from UK band Dead Models is awesome.  It sounds like it was recorded during the mid 60s, and being that that was what the band was trying to accomplish, I’d say they did an amazing job.

There’s only four songs, but they are really just so good.  There’s triple harmony, background vocals, beautiful playing, and they all flourish and weave together to create extremely well written songs.  It reminds me of what Dungen does quite a bit, and if you liked how they sounded on the song “Stadsvandringar,” then this should be right up your alley (minus the Swedish, of course)…

Check out ze myspaces to hear the other songs, which are just as good, and maybe drop a few coins to buy the EP…
